SPARTANBURG, S.C. -- The Anderson College women's tennis team won its second straight match by claiming a 7-2 decision over Converse Wednesday afternoon. Anderson, 3-11 overall, led 2-1 after doubles then won in straight sets in four of the six singles matches. Singles -- Kimberly Newman (AC) d. Marcela Caceres, 6-2, 7-5; Katie Sexton (AC) d. Danielle Beck, 6-1, 6-0; Sandra Diaz (C) d. Stephanie Ponder, 6-3, 6-2; Shelley Davis (AC) d. Christine Galop, 6-2, 6-0; Ria Wright (AC) d. Ivy Collier, 2-6, 7-6 (10-7); Kristen Lambert (AC) d.
