Limestone Snaps Streak Against Women's Tennis Team

GAFFNEY, S.C. - The Limestone women's tennis team won its first Carolinas-Virginia Athletic Conference match in three years by beating Anderson College 6-3 Saturday afternoon. Freshman Amelia Koonce clinched the match with a 6-4, 6-2 victory over Shelly Davis. Limestone improves to 1-3 overall and 1-1 in the CVAC, while Anderson falls to 0-2, 0-1. The Anderson-Limestone men's match scheduled for Saturday was rained out and has been rescheduled for March 24 at 3:30 p.m. Doubles - Rachel Aaron-Sandra Larsen (L) d.
