Women’s Golf Readies for Low Tide Intercollegiate

ANDERSON, S.C. – A week after claiming third place at Florida Southern, the nationally fourth-ranked Anderson women's golf team is set to compete at Limestone's Low Tide Intercollegiate, Monday and Tuesday, in Mount Pleasant.

Limestone will be hosting the two-day, 54-hole tournament on a par-72, 6,100 yard Dunes West Golf and River Club layout.

In addition to the No. 4 Trojans, the 16-team field will include 13th-ranked Limestone, No. 16 Lander, No. 32 Columbus State, No. 33 Montevallo, 34th-ranked Carson-Newman, No. 35 Lenoir-Rhyne, 41st-ranked UNC Pembroke, No. 22 West Georgia, 49th-ranked North Georgia, Coker, Newberry, Erskine, Davenport, Catawba and Tusculum.

The Trojans are returning to the Low Country for their third consecutive appearance and fourth time in five years, after competing at the tourney for the first time in school history in 2019. The Trojans finished sixth in their inaugural appearance, then claimed runner-up honors in 2021 and finished third a year ago, with Jessica Rathbone carding a three-round, 8-over-par 224 and finishing in a tie for fifth place.
