SALISBURY, N.C. -- The Anderson University women's golf team shot its lowest round of the fall -- 323 -- to finish fifth in the 11-team Rendleman Invitational Tuesday at the Salisbury Country Club. Belmont Abbey won the team title with a 36-hole total of 616. Pfeiffer was second at 634, Newberry was third at 641, and Wingate was fourth at 646. Anderson finished the tournament with a total of 657. Franziska Blum of Newberry won the individual title with a 36-hole total of 146 (73-73). Rita Kim and Carley Warrington, both of Belmont Abbey, and Ashley Denton of Wingate finished in a tie for second at 152. Anderson was led in the second round by Kalyn Johnson with a 79. She was followed by Sophie Dembroski 80, Anna Jenks 81, and Laura Buyers 83.
