Men’s Outdoor Track and Field Ranked 41st Nationally

NEW ORLEANS – The Anderson University men's outdoor track and field team is ranked 41st in the nation in the latest U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) poll, as released Tuesday afternoon.

Senior Christopher Burton and junior Mason Hazel have paced the Trojans early in the outdoor season, with Hazel posting a provisional NCAA qualifying mark in the 5,000 meter run and Burton achieving provisional times in both the 100 meter dash and the 200 meter dash.

Joining the Trojans in the Top-50 from the Southeast Region were Mount Olive (No. 16), Limestone (No. 28), Queens (No. 32), Carson-Newman (No. 33), Columbus State (No. 34) and Wingate (No. 40).
