NEW ORLEANS – After capturing second place at the South Atlantic Conference championships last weekend, the Anderson University men's cross country team jumped up two spots into sixth place in the latest U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) DII Southeast Region Rankings, as released Tuesday afternoon.

Flagler vaulted three spots into the fourth slot – its first top-5 appearance this season – after capturing second place at the Peach Belt Conference Championships. UNC Pembroke dropped one spot into fifth place in the weekly poll. With the Trojans moving up to No. 6, Wingate slipped into seventh place after finishing third at the SAC Championships.

Lenoir-Rhyne continued its climb in the poll and was eighth this week, while Catawba plunged four spots to ninth after a fifth-place showing at the SAC Championships. Columbus State rounded out the poll at No. 10.

Anderson is slated to get back in action on Nov. 9 at the 2019 NCAA Southeast Region Championships, which will be hosted by Wingate.
