Men’s Cross Country Ranked Seventh in USTFCCCA Southeast Region Poll

NEW ORLEANS – The Anderson University men's cross country team is ranked seventh in the second regular-season U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) DII Regional Rankings, as released Tuesday afternoon.

Two-time defending South Atlantic Conference champion Queens remained in the top slot, while Mount Olive, Augusta, UNC Pembroke, and Wingate all remained steady as the No. 2, No. 3, No. 4, and No. 5 teams, respectively. Mount Olive outlasted host Wingate for the top spot at last Saturday's Bulldog Stampede.

Flagler (6th), Anderson (7th) and Georgia College (8th) also remained unchanged, while Catawba moved up one spot to ninth and Lenoir-Rhyne occupied 10th place.

The Trojans will get back in action Friday, Sept. 27 at the Queen City Invitational.
