HOW IT HAPPENED
First Set
Duty and sophomore Sadie Kluner combined for five kills in the opening frame and the Trojans used a .389 hitting percentage to roll past the Cobras.

AU jumped out to a quick 11-5 advantage to force a Cobra timeout, but the break didn't slow the Trojans, as they scored five straight points coming out of the break to force another Coker timeout. The Cobras were unable to get any closer than 12 down the stretch.

Second Set
AU trailed, 8-4, early but rattled off a 15-6 scoring outburst to claim a five-point lead and held at least a three-point edge the rest of the way.

Third Set
Coker snapped an early 6-6 deadlock and steadily built a 16-11 lead before the Trojans righted the ship and scored six unanswered points to take a brief lead. Following a kill by the Cobras' Rami Mullen that knotted the score, AU capitalized on a pair of Coker errors to take the lead for good.
