SEWANEE, Tenn. -- The Anderson University men's and women's track teams competed at the University of the South in Sewanee Tennessee last weekend. The Anderson men were led by freshman Alex Jordan, who finished fifth in the mile and broke his own school record for the second consecutive week. Jordan also had a top-ten finish in the 800-meter run. Nate Parsons finished fifth in the men's 3000, while teammates Jeremy Hunsaker and Jason Bryan finished ninth and tenth, respectively. The Anderson women were led by senior Kasey Harold and sophomore Diana Willard. Harold, a senior from Pataskala, Ohio, earned seven team points for the Lady Trojans. She had four top-ten performances. She finished fifth in the 800-meter run, sixth in the shot put, fourth in the long jump and ninth in the high jump. Harold had a personal best in the shot put with a toss of 9.03 meters. Willard scored eight points with a second-place finish in the 3000-meter run. Freshman Megan Deaton had a seventh-place finish in the mile. Anderson will finish their indoor season this weekend at Clemson University.
