BOILING SPRING, N.C. - The Anderson University men's tennis dropped a 7-0 decision at Division I opponent Gardner-Webb Saturday afternoon at the GWU Tennis Complex.
Anderson dropped to 3-3 on the season, while Gardner-Webb evened its record on the season at 5-5.
The Trojan doubles' tandem of Stan Atema and Daniel Gonzalez battled at No. 1 doubles but fell, 8-4, while Ilya Zakharov and Trey Halbauer dropped an 8-5 decision at the No. three slot.
On the singles' side, each of the Trojans claimed at least one set, but were unable to capture the win
Anderson will get back into conference action on Saturday with a visit to Mars Hill. First-serve is slated for 1 p.m. versus the Lions.
