Rock Hill, S.C. – Anderson University women's basketball senior forward Alexis Dillard was named AstroTurf South Atlantic Conference Player of the Week for games played Nov. 14-20, as announced by the conference office on Monday.
In a winning effort against rival Erskine on Nov. 16th, Dillard scored a career-high 26 points and pulled down a career-high 18 rebounds. The native of Taylors, S.C., connected on 9-of-9 from the floor and added 8-of-10 from the line in the win.
Defensively, Dillard controlled the paint as she turned away five shots and posted one steal. The five blocked shots was one shy of her career-best.
The Trojans return to action on Tuesday when they travel to SAC foe Mars Hill to open up the conference slate. Tip-Off is scheduled for 6 p.m.
