ANDERSON, S.C. – Anderson University first-year head women's basketball coach Jonathon Barbaree has announced the addition of Atlantic Sun opponent Lipscomb University to the Trojans' 2016-17 schedule.

"We are really excited about the opportunity to play Lipscomb," said Barbaree. "Anytime you can play a Division I program it creates an excitement among your players. Lipscomb will be a great challenge for us which in the end will prepare us for our tough SAC conference."

The contest will be played on Sunday, November 20th at 2 p.m. central time/3 p.m. eastern standard time.

Lipscomb finished its 2015-16 campaign with a 5-25 overall record, while finishing seventh in the A-SUN with a 2-12 record.
