AU scored a road win against a top-10 JUCO in USC Sumter on September 17, blanking the Fire Ants 7-0. The Trojans took the doubles point with 3 convincing wins, before sweeping all 6 singles matches. Sophomore Greyson Doscotch scored an 8-3 doubles win with junior Philip Olsson before dominating his No. 3 singles match 6-0, 6-0. Senior Spencer Snow clinched the team victory with a 6-1, 6-0 win at No. 6 singles.
Trojans' Home Dominance
Anderson begins a new season in the friendly confines of the AU Tennis Complex, aiming to continue their success at home from last season. The 2021 Trojans bounced back from a season-opening home loss to Columbus State to win their last 9 home matches of the season. 6 of those wins came in SAC play, including 4 over ranked opponents.
Scouting the Lions
Emmanuel has yet to begin play in their 2022 season and will hit the road to match up with Young Harris on Tuesday, October 4th in their first match of the year.
In 2021, the Lions posted an 11-12 overall record, including a 7-3 mark in Conference Carolinas play. Their lineup includes only 1 returning starter after the departure of many key members of last year's squad. Senior Joan Grosset competed in 15 dual matches at No. 6 singles, sporting a 7-8 record. In doubles, Grosset was part of a No. 1 doubles team that went 9-12, including winning 7 of their last 10 matches.

Anderson will wrap up their fall schedule with a road matchup against North Greenville on Wednesday, October 19th. Match time is set for 2:00 p.m.
