The Anderson University Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) was recently honored for raising $6,305 as part of its' ongoing fundraising efforts to help raise money for this worthwhile cause – most of any school in the South Atlantic Conference
ANDERSON, S.C. – The Anderson University Student-Athlete Advisory Committee has designated this weekend as a SAAC Make-A-Wish Days as part of its' ongoing fundraising efforts to help raise money for a worthwhile cause.
Each year, NCAA Division II institutions participate in a variety of fundraisers to help raise money for the Make-A-Wish Foundation®. The AU SAAC collects donations for this great cause throughout the academic year and the committee will continue celebrating its annual fundraising efforts at Friday afternoon's men's and women's tennis matches, along with the volleyball contest against Emory & Henry, Friday night. The SAC has also designated Saturday's volleyball match, the women's lacrosse scrimmages and the men's and women's soccer doubleheader as Make-A-Wish events.
Fans are encouraged to make a donation either online or at the door, with everyone encouraged to register online. By registering online, fans will reserve their spot at the game for admission (at a reduced rate) and a free snack and beverage of their choice. Fans are asked to register in advance for admission at a suggested amount of $7 per person which is discounted from the price for admission the day of event.
Anyone not registered online for event, will be encouraged to purchase a ticket for admission the day of the game. ($10 Adults, $7 Seniors/Youth, Children 12 & Under & Anderson University Student ID Free).
