BELMONT, N.C. -- Anderson College (7-3 overall, 6-0 CVAC) swept the doubles and swept five of the six singles matches to beat Belmont Abbey 8-1 in a CVAC match Wednesday afternoon. In doubles, the No. 1 AC team of Gabor Boczonadi and Sid Sudhakar rallied from a 6-5 deficit to defeat Markus Tell and Aaron Miller, 8-6. In singles, the Trojans took five of the six matches, all in straight sets. Belmont Abbey's (1-7, 0-2) lone victory came at third singles, where Rodolfo Cardoso defeated Raul Luna 6-3, 1-6, 6-2.
