GREENWOOD, S.C. - In their head-to-head dual competition, the Anderson men's golf team leads rival Erskine by five shots after the first day the two-day event co-hosted by both teams at the par 72, 6,999-yard Hunter's Creek Golf and Country Club.
As a team, the Trojans fired an opening-round 309, while the
Flying Fleet posted a 315.
Anderson freshman Arran Setro fired the low round of the day with
an even-par 72, while John Moore, junior Chase Epting and freshman
Sean Shelton each posted seven-over par 79s.
The Trojans will host the final round Friday at Cobb's Glen, with a shotgun start at 3 p.m.
