GREENVILLE, S.C. -- Anderson University had three players shoot par or better to take the first-round lead at the BMW Collegiate Monday at the Verdae Greens Golf Club. The Trojans shot 295 on the par-72, 6,850-yard Verdae course to take a two-shot lead over Presbyterian in the 17-team field. Barton is in third place at 303, and Clayton State and Queens University of Charlotte are tied for fourth at 306. Anderson's 295 is lowest team score the Trojans have posted in 2006-07.
