ANDERSON, S.C. – The Anderson University women's soccer team looks to continue its solid play when it welcomes nonconference opponent Southern Wesleyan to Trojan Stadium.

• In 2014, the Trojans spoiled the Warriors debut into Division II with a 2-0 victory. Then-freshman Rachael Whaling posted two goals in the win. Last season, Anderson won a decisive 7-1 match with current junior Abby Mills recording a goal during the victory.

• Anderson began its 2016 campaign with a 4-0 defeat over archrival Erskine.
• Senior Alaina Gay scored two goals and had one assistant during Thursday contest.
• Senior transfer Tina Shakes scored her first goal as a Trojan against the Flying Fleet.
• Junior Lyssa Engle got into the action Thursday scoring her first goal of 2016 season and the 14th of her career.

• The Warriors are coming off of a 2-0 loss to Bob Jones on Thursday.
