THOMASVILLE, N.C. -- Anderson College outfielder Caleb Owen has been named to the 2005 All-CVAC Preseason Baseball team. Owen, a senior from Westminster, S.C., was the only Anderson player selected for the team. In 2004, Owen set the single-season school record for hits with 80. He batted .365 with 10 doubles, three homers, and 29 RBI.
