Women's Basketball Team Finishes In Top 25

LILBURN, Ga. -- The Anderson University women's basketball team is ranked No. 23 in the final USA TODAY ESPN Division II coaches' poll released Tuesday. The Lady Trojans, 24-8 overall, share the No. 23 spot with Georgia College and State University. Anderson made its fourth consecutive trip to the NCAA Tournament this season and reached the second round of the East Regional at Glenville, W.Va. National champion Southern Connecticut State was ranked No. 1 in the final poll. Rounding out the top five were Florida Gulf Coast, California San Diego, Clayton State, and North Dakota.
