MISENHEIMER, N.C. -- Raven Truslow scored 29 points and grabbed 12 rebounds to lead first-place Pfeiffer to a 92-71 victory over No. 17 Anderson University in a CVAC game Saturday night. Pfeiffer, 21-4 overall and 16-2 in the CVAC, now has a lead of 1 1/2 games over Anderson, 20-4 and 14-3, in the league standings with one week remaining in the regular season. The 21-point final deficit is Anderson's worst of the season. Lauren Brittingham and Ashley Crenshaw scored 19 points and 17 points, respectively, for the Falcons, ranked No. 4 in the East Region. Anderson, ranked No. 2 in the East Region, was led by Deidra Langston with 17 points and nine rebounds. Shadae Thompson added 14 points for the Lady Trojans. Pfeiffer took the lead early in the first half and never looked back. The Falcons led 40-30 at the half and led by as many as 30 points in the second half. Pfeiffer scored 38 points off 33 Anderson turnovers. Anderson was plus 15 on the boards and had 20 offensive rebounds, but the Lady Trojans shot just 40 percent from the field.
