Women's Hoops In Top 15 In Four Categories

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. -- The Anderson College women's basketball team finished in the top 15 in four categories in the final 2002-03 Division II statistics released by the NCAA. The Lady Trojans were ninth in the country in 3-point goals per game (7.9) and 13th in scoring offense (77.3 points per game). Freshman Leann Segers, the CVAC Freshman of the Year, was fifth in the country in 3-point goals per game (2.9) and 11th in 3-point goal percentage (42.7). Segers, a native of Hartwell, Ga., led Anderson in scoring at 16.4 points per game and scored 85 3-point goals.
