ANDERSON, S.C. -- Anderson College head men's basketball coach Doug Novak will welcome four new players and one player who redshirted last season to the 2004-05 team. -- Jason Davis, returns to AC after a stint in the Marine Corps. Davis, a 5-foot-11 native of Fountain Inn, S.C., played one year at AC before joining the Marines. "Jason is a quick, skilled athletic guard who can shoot," Novak said. "He will be a sophomore this season and he has added 35 pounds since that one season with us." -- Randy Javois, a 6-7 post, comes to Anderson from Clinton Community College. Javois, a native of Anguilla, West Indies, led his junior college conference in scoring and rebounding last season. -- Ronald Bowers, a 6-7 forward, played at Roane State the past two seasons. A native of Nashville, Tenn., Bowers led Roane State in 3-point shooting percentage, assists, and minutes played. "Ronald is a skilled big man who has the ability to score with his back to the basket," Novak said. -- Odin Palaceo is a 6-6 guard-forward from Highland Community College. A native of Panama City, Panama, Palaceo is a versatile wing player who helped lead Highland to a No. 11 national ranking. -- Paul De Chellis, a 6-6 post, joined the Anderson program in January and redshirted the spring of 2004. De Chellis was a member of the Under 19 Australian national team.
