BANNER ELK, N.C. -- Mikala Fogle-Wilson scored a career-high 32 points and Deidra Langston added 26 points and nine rebounds to lead Anderson University to a 106-65 victory over Lees-McRae in a CVAC women's game Thursday night. Anderson, 16-3 overall and 12-1 in the CVAC, has won six straight and 14 of its last 15. Lees-McRae drops to 10-10, 7-6. The first meeting between the two teams in November went down to the final seconds. But Anderson, ranked No. 4 in the East Region, needed no last second heroics to take its second victory over Lees-McRae this season. The Lady Trojans built a double-digit lead in the first half and then poured it on in the second half. Fogle-Wilson, a sophomore from Columbia, was 11-for-18 from the field and 6-for-9 from behind the arc. She made two treys in the final 43 seconds of the first half to give Anderson a 47-33 lead at the break. Langston, a junior from Gainesville, Ga., made 11 of 14 shots from the field and also had four steals. LaShonda Chiles scored 14 points and handed out six assists for the Lady Trojans. Chiles, last week's CVAC Player of the Week, has now scored in double digits in 64 straight games. Keana Boyd was the fourth Anderson player in double figures with 10. Anderson has scored 100 or more points twice in the its last four games and limited opponents to 70 points or less in seven of its last nine games. Anderson's bench outscored the Lees-McRae bench, 44-7, and the Lady Trojans scored 33 points off 22 Bobcat turnovers. Anderson averaged 1.34 points per possession. Stephanie Mullinax led Lees-McRae with 23 points.
