LILBURN, Ga. -- The Anderson University women's basketball team moved up to No. 23 in the WBCA/USA TODAY/ESPN Division II Coaches Poll released Tuesday afternoon. Anderson is 14-2 overall and 8-1 in the Carolinas-Virginia Athletics Conference. North Dakota (21-1) received 23 first-place votes and remains No. 1 in the poll. Missouri Western State (18-0), Washburn (16-1), Southern Connecticut State (18-0), Florida Gulf Coast (20-0), California State Chico (13-1), Glenville State (16-2), Augustana (20-2), Lewis (15-2), and Grand Valley State (14-4) round out the top 10. Anderson is the only school from the state of South Carolina in the poll.
