Conference Carolinas Tournament Begins Monday

ANDERSON, S.C. -- The 2008 Conference Carolinas men's basketball tournament begins Monday at the top four seeds. No. 6 Anderson travels to No. 3 Queens University of Charlotte for a 7 p.m. game. The game will be the third meeting between the two schools since Feb. 16. Anderson closed the regular season with a dramatic 85-81 overtime victory over Queens last Friday night at the Abney Center. In other first round games, No. 1 Mount Olive will play host to No. 8 Coker, No. 2 Pfeiffer will entertain No. 7 Limestone, and No. 4 Barton will play host to No. 5 Belmont Abbey. All three rounds of the tournament will be played at the higher seeds. The second round is Thursday night and the championship game will be played Saturday.
