ANDERSON, S.C. – Kamryn Osterbind of the Anderson University women's track and field team has been named the South Atlantic Conference Astroturf Women's Outdoor Track Athlete of the Week.
Osterbind, a junior from Elkton, Maryland, won the 800m at the Montreat College Invitational with a mark of 2:13.86, while also being part of the second place 4x400m relay team that combined for a time of 3:56.62 to set a new school record.
"Kamryn continues to get better in each competition this season," said coach Kevin Eagle. "Her opening 800m race and her leg on the 4x400m relay team was a fantastic double! We are just getting started with Kamryn!"
