No. 3! Chiles Named Player Of The Week Again

THOMASVILLE, N.C. -- LaShonda Chiles of Anderson College (28-2 overall, 19-1 CVAC) has been selected as the NCAA Division II Carolinas-Virginia Athletics Conference (CVAC) women's basketball Player of the Week for the third time this season. Chiles, a 5-foot-2 sophomore from Greenwood, S.C., finished the regular season with a flourish by scoring 51 points in two games to help Anderson finish the CVAC schedule 19-1 overall and 10-0 on the road. Chiles scored 20 or more points in 12 of Anderson's last 13 regular-season games. This week, she had 10 assists against Limestone to record her second double-double of the season and led the Trojans to a 90-84 win over Pfeiffer University, scoring 25 points with 2 rebounds, 5 assists and 3 steals. In the final two regular season games, Chiles had 15 assists to 7 turnovers to maintain her better than 2-to-1 ratio for the season.
