Presbyterian Shuts Out Anderson, 1-0

ANDERSON, S.C. -- Trent Weber scored on a header in the 69th minute and Presbyterian survived some serious pressure from Anderson in the final five minutes to beat the Trojans 1-0 in a non-conference match at Smethers Field Tuesday night. Presbyterian improves to 7-3-1 overall, while Anderson falls to 6-6. After playing a scoreless first half, both teams continued to struggle to find scoring opportunities in the first 20 minutes of the second half. Trailing 1-0, Anderson mounted its most serious attack of the match. The Trojans had three scoring opportunities in the final five minutes but could not cash in. Anderson outshot Presbyterian, 8-6.
