ANDERSON, S.C. -- Nick Wyatt scored two goals, including a penalty kick for the game winner at 61:50, to lead Belmont Abbey to a 2-1 victory over Anderson College in a CVAC match Saturday afternoon at Smethers Field. The victory improves Belmont Abbey to 4-5-1 overall and 3-1 in the CVAC. The loss snaps Anderson's four-match winning streak and drops the Trojans to 5-5, 3-1. Wyatt scored the lone goal in the first half at the 16:40 mark. In the second half, Anderson's Josh Pittman tied the match at the 59:27 mark. Anderson played half of the second half one man down after Jon Scott received a red card. Anderson had 16 shots to 10 for Belmont Abbey.
