CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- Meredith Knox and Ashley Rogers both hit home runs and Katie Van Gieson pitched a five hitter to lead Anderson University to an 8-3 victory in the second game and a split of a CVAC doubleheader with Queens University of Charlotte Friday night. In the first game, Queens edged Anderson, 8-7. Kayla Williams and Allison Cromer hit home runs for Anderson in the first game. Anderson is now 20-11 overall and 11-5 in the CVAC, while Queens stands at 13-25, 9-5.
