ANDERSON, S.C. -- Anderson University head softball coach Tommy Hewitt announced the signing of six players Thursday afternoon. The six players signed with Anderson during the early signing period in November. "We're really excited about this class," said Hewitt, who is entering his second season as AU's head coach. "We believe we have added six really good players to our program." The signees are: -- Alexandra Waldroup, a pitcher from LaGrange Academy in LaGrange, Ga. -- Kinsley Durham, an infielder from Pendleton High School in Pendleton, S.C. -- Jessica Barrett, a pitcher from Habersham Central High School in Cornelia, Ga. -- Cameron White, a pitcher from Saluda High School in Saluda, S.C. -- Samantha Moorhead, a pitcher from T.L. Hanna High School in Anderson. -- Casey Deer, a pitcher from Barnwell High School in Barnwell, S.C.
