Track and Field Wraps up Regular Season at Georgia Invitational

ATHENS, Ga. - Seven members of the Anderson University men's and women's track and field teams competed at the Georgia Invitational, hosted at the Bulldogs' Spec Towns Track on Saturday.

The freshman combination of Christopher Burton, T.J. Robinson, Caleb Stephenson and Joseph Siegwald claimed seventh in the men's 4x100 meter relay in a time of 41.77, while fellow freshman Mason Hazel earned sixth place in the men's 1500 meter run with a time of 3:59.10.

Burton also captured 10th in the men's 100 meter dash by crossing the line with a time of 10.73 and took home 11th in the 200 meter dash in a time of 21.55. Stephenson garnered 27th place in the 200 meter dash in a time of 22.32.

Sophomore Olivia Gardner finished fourth in the women's 3000 meter steeplechase with a time of 11:41.26, with redshirt junior Brooklyn Watkins placing 16th in the javelin throw with a distance of 30.05 meters.
