Three Trojans Named WGCA All-American; McGaha Named to First-Team

CORAL SPRINGS, Fla. -- After wrapping up the most successful season in program history just a week ago, the award continue to pour in for the Anderson University women's golf team as three members of the squad were named to the Women's Golf Coaches Association All-American teams as announced by the organization on Friday, May 31.

Junior Kennedy McGaha (Honea Path, S.C.) was named as the lone member of the team to earn First-Team honors, earning her third straight All-American nod after being named Second-Team her freshman year and Honorable Mention last season. Senior Jessica Rathbone (Montpelier, Va.) became the first member of the team to earn All-American status all four seasons as she was named Honorable Mention for 2024. She had earned two Second-Team honors and a First-Team honor in the past. Sophomore Kennedy Gooding (Lexington, S.C.) rounded out the award winners for the Black and Gold as she earned his first career All-American honor, joining Rathbone as a Honorable Mention.
