BIRMINGHAM, Ala. - Despite the blustery weather, the Anderson women's golf team posted the second-largest improvement of the field, trimming 10 shots off Sunday's opening round to finish seventh at Ann Rhoads Invitational, hosted by Birmingham Southern College at the par 72, 6,042-yard Robert Trent Jones at Oxmoor Valley Course.

Junior Kalyn Johnson (81-85=166) carded a two-day 22 over par 166 to lead the Trojan effort and 13th, while freshman Katie Eskew (90-80=170) improved by 10 strokes over her first-round effort to share 21st.

Senior Hayley Parks (88-84=172) finished two shots further back with a total 172, while
Laura Buyers (90-88=178) claimed 38th.

Sophomore Lindsay Parks (88-94=182) carded a two-round total 182 to share 43rd.

The Trojans return to action on Monday at the Dana Rader Intercollegiate hosted by Pfeiffer University.
