PENDLETON, S.C. - After shooting a two-day total 656 , the Anderson University women's golf team finished seventh at the 2010 Boscobel Intercollegiate hosted by Wofford at the 5,999 yard par-72 Boscobel Golf Course.

Junior Kalyn Johnson (76-80=156) fired a 14-over par in the two-day event to claim a share of 10th-place, while freshman Katie Eskew (82-77=159) trimmed five strokes off her opening round to jump from 21st to 15th.

Senior Hayley Parks (82-87=169) finished tied for 31st , while junior Laura Buyers (89-83=172) cut five strokes off Monday's score to move up four spots and finished the event in 36th. Sophomore Lindsay Parks (90-90=180) carded her second consecutive 90 and finished 41st.

Wofford's Alex Rankin shot a course record to claim individual honors. Rankin, who shot two over 74 in round one, turned in a three-under round of 69 with five birdies to win the individual title with a score of 143. She was the only player in the field to turn in an 18-hole score of under par and a 36-hole score under par.

Wofford's Anne Marie Covar and Newberry's Maria Luz Besio finished tied for second with a total score of 149. Both players shot a day one score of 76 and followed it up with a day two score of 73.

Appalachian took second with a team score of 619, while Newberry posted a score of 634. Pfeiffer (637), High Point (650), Presbyterian (653) and Anderson rounded out the field.

The Trojans wrap up their fall slate Oct. 25-26, at the Flagler Fall Slam hosted by Flagler College at the Marsh Creek Country Club in St. Augustine, Fla.
