Trojan Women’s Cross Country Climbs to Fourth in Southeast Region

ANDERSON, S.C. - After running against top-notch competition during the month of September, the Anderson women's cross country team has moved up one spot in the weekly U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association's (USTFCCCA) Southeast Region poll, as released Tuesday afternoon.

The Trojans were rewarded for their efforts after notching top-seven finishes at Clemson and USC Upstate.

Lenoir-Rhyne, a unanimous pick to win the South Atlantic Conference title, held onto the third spot, with the top three remaining unchanged from last week's regional poll.

Anderson will get back on the course Saturday, Oct. 2, when the Trojans are slated to compete at the Louisville Invitational.
