CHAPEL HILL, N.C. - The second day of the Dick Taylor Carolina Classic was canceled due to inclement weather but not before at least some the Trojans made their mark at the Eddie Smith Fieldhouse. Krishaun Hall posted a 35th -place finish in the women's 60m dash with a time of 8.24, while teammate Kristin Page notched 27th with a time of 6:28.72 in the finals of the women's one-mile run. Junior Durecelle Campbell garnered 15th in the women's weight throw, just missing her personal best set two weeks ago at Appalachian State, with a mark of 12.74m. The Trojans were also impressive on the men's side, with Josh Butler running 7.37 in the men's 60m dash prelims, while Alex Jordan (4:30.47) and Nigel Reynolds (4:45.46) took 10th and 21st respectively in the one-mile run finals and Zach Hart collected 10th in the pole vault at 4.20m. Will Byars posted a 12.63m distance in the men's weight throw, finishing 12th in the finals.
