MARS HILL, N.C. -- Ryan Minor scored two goals to lead Mars Hill to a 4-1 victory over Anderson College in a non-conference match Wednesday night. Anderson took a 1-0 lead at the 27:09 mark on a goal by Marcus Bradley off an assist from Evan Newton. But 28 seconds later, David Oesch scored the equalizer for the Lions. Minor scored what proved to be the eventual game winner at 39:54. In the second half, Mion scored at 72:52, and Tyler Woodle tallied the final Lion goal at 87:12. Mars Hill improves to 3-11-1, while Anderson, which had a four-match unbeaten streak snapped, falls to 3-11-3. AC had 18 shots to 15 for Mars Hill. The Lions had seven corner kicks to four for the Trojans. AC closes out the regular season Saturday at 4 p.m. at home against Queens University of Charlotte. Season Statistics
