ANDERSON, S.C. -- The Anderson tennis teams swept Mount Olive in Conference Carolinas' action Thursday afternoon, with the women's squad collecting a 6-3 win, while the men's netters blanking the visiting Trojans, 9-0, at the Max Grubbs Tennis Courts. The men's squad posted its third straight shutout en route to improving to 5-2 on the season and stayed perfect in league play at 3-0 and the Trojan women evened their overall record at 4-4, including a 2-2 mark in conference action. Anderson's men's team did not drop a set as the Trojans swept doubles action and rolled to the sweep. Freshman John Karle stayed undefeated at 7-0 on the season, while Deni Mehagic and Stephane Murray each collected their sixth victories. The women's team suffered just two setbacks in doubles, but earned five wins in singles to earn the team win. Julie Halbert picked up her sixth win of the 2010 campaign.
