Anderson Falls to Clayton State, 3-0

MORROW, Ga. -- Clayton State blanked Anderson 3-0 Saturday night in the final match of the Laker Shootout. The Lakers struck for their first goal in the 24th minute as Jamal Geathers stole the ball at midfield and fed a streaking Tonny Madegwa down the middle for the goal and a 1-0 lead. The second half was barely a minute old when the Lakers struck again. Defender Brett Neilson set up the goal with a pass to midfielder Hailab Habtom on the left flank. Habtom then fed midfielder Johnny Lara with a cross in front of the goal to make it 2-0. Angel Kalinov finished the Laker scoring on a breakaway goal in the 68th minute off an incoming pass from midfielder Marijan Babic. Clayton State is now 2-0, while Anderson falls to 1-2.
