Trojans Get First Victory

MORROW, Ga. -- Michael Walker scored two goals and German Ospina had one goal and one assist to lead Anderson University to a 4-0 victory over North Georgia in the Clayton State Laker Shootout Friday afternoon. Anderson, 1-1 overall, scored two goals in the first 10 minutes and all four goals in the first 31 minutes of the match. Walker took a pass from Stephon Henry and scored from the top of the box at 3:31 for AU's opening goal. At 9:58, Lahnden Onger passed the ball to Ospina, who scored from in front to make it 2-0. Walker scored again at the 20:00 mark off an assist from Ospina. Remington Siemen tallied Anderson's final goal at 30:45 after taking a pass from Zach Denson. Anderson goalkeeper Andrian Osborne made four saves to pick up the shutout. Anderson had 27 total shots, 18 on goal. North Georgia had just 11 shots, four on goal. Anderson plays host Clayton State Saturday at 7 p.m.
