MONROE, N.C. – The third and final round of Wingate's 18th annual J. Ralph Hargett Memorial Intercollegiate has been cancelled due to wet conditions throughout the region.

With a two-round 5-over-par 149, freshman Cal Brock led the Trojans to an eighth-place finish in the 12-team event. Lenoir-Rhyne won the 36-hole event by eight shots over second-place Belmont Abbey, while the host Bulldogs finished in third place, five strokes behind the Bears. Coker was fourth, with Catawba holding the fifth slot and Belmont Abbey (B) claimed sixth place.

Brevard and Anderson finished in seventh and eighth place, respectively, while Pfeiffer, Wingate (B), Benedict and Pfeiffer (B) rounded out the field.

Wingate's Jarrett Stowe carded a two-round 7-under-par 137 and won the individual title by one shot over Belmont Abbey's Nick Stafford.

Brock (149) finished in a five-way tie for 19th, with sophomore Jake Miller (151) two shots further back in a tie for 26th. Freshman Colt Martin (153) shared the 29th spot, while junior Grayson Bell (157) was tied for 41st place after 36 holes. Junior Cole Jefferys rounded out the Trojan contingent in a tie for 51st place after carding a two-round 163.

Following a two-week layoff, the Trojans will get back on the links at the Bearcat Classic, which will be hosted by Lander at the Greenwood Country Club.
