Men's Golf Team In Second Place

TIGERVILLE, S.C. -- The Anderson University men's golf team is in second place after Monday's first round of the BMW Intercollegiate at the Cherokee Valley Golf Club. Southeastern University is the leader after the first round with a 304. Southeastern is followed by Anderson (305), Limestone (312), Cape Fear (314), Mobile (314), and Spartanburg Methodist (315). Steven Brame of Cape Fear is the individual leader after the first round with a 3-under 69. He is followed by Matt Parzaile of Southeastern (70), Kurt Owings of Anderson (72), and Adam Sheriff of Anderson, Brad Williams of Limestone, and Nate Mosby of Southeastern, who all shot 73. Anderson's other two scores were Kenny Shockley 79 and Will Ferguson 81. The second round will be played Tuesday morning.
