NEW LONDON, N.C. -- Adam Sheriff finished fourth overall and made the all-tournament team to lead Anderson University to a fourth-place finish in the Johnny Palmer Memorial Tuesday at the Old North State Club. Anderson shot a 317 in the second round to finish the 36-hole event with a total of 625. First-round leader Methodist won the tournament with a 606 total. Newberry was second at 616, and Barton was third at 621. Sheriff led Anderson in the second round with a 77 to finish with a 150 total. Anderson's other three scores in the second round were Kenny Shockley 78, Clay Williamson 81, and Ryan Sprayberry 81.
