ANDERSON, S.C. - After a winter storm swept through the Upstate, Anderson University baseball's road contest with in-state rival North Greenville scheduled for Wednesday has been postponed and moved to Thursday, March 26 at 4 p.m.
Earlier this season, Anderson claimed its first victory of the season with a narrow 13-12 win over the Crusaders on Feb. 11 at Anderson Memorial Stadium. The March 26 game is slated to be the second of three scheduled matchups between the teams, as the season-long series with the Crusaders comes to a close on April 14.
The Trojans are scheduled to return to the diamond on Friday when they begin a three-game South Atlantic Conference series at Carson-Newman. The first pitch on Friday is set for 2 p.m., while the doubleheader on Saturday is slated for noon.
