PEMBROKE, N.C. - With a chance of inclement weather in the Carolinas on Sunday, Anderson University baseball's season opener at regional opponent, UNC Pembroke, has been moved to Saturday, Jan. 31 with the times remaining at 1 p.m. and 4 p.m.
Saturday's contests marks the fourth straight season the Trojans
will open with UNCP and the earliest AU has opened the season in
program history due to new legislation that was passed earlier this
month. The new legislation passed by the NCAA allows Division II
schools to start spring seasons on the Friday prior to Feb. 1 when
that date falls on a Saturday, Sunday or Monday.
