Trojans Ranked Fourth in Latest NCAA Southeast Region Softball Poll

Anderson, S.C.  – Anderson University Softball is one of the five schools in The South Atlantic Conference ranked in the NCAA Southeast Region Softball poll released by the NCAA on Wednesday (May. 5). 

Lincoln Memorial took the No. 1 spot, followed by Anderson at No. 4, Tusculum at No. 5, Catawba at No. 6 and Carson-Newman at No. 7.

In addition to the five SAC schools ranked in this week's poll, North Georgia was tagged at No. 2, Young Harris was ranked at No. 3 and closing out the poll was UNC Pembroke at No. 8. 

Anderson has a 29-11 record, Carson-Newman is 22-12, Catawba is 28-11, Lincoln Memorial is 36-6 and Tusculum is 22-17.

The rankings are the official poll utilized by the NCAA in the championship selection process and will continue to be released each week by the NCAA Division II Softball Committee up to the NCAA Championship selections.

The final announcement will be Sunday, May 16th at 10 pm.
