Rudesheim and Niles Earn All-Tournament Honors

ROCK HILL, S.C. - Sophomore hurler Lauren Rudesheim and freshman Cailah Niles have been named to the South Atlantic Conference Softball All-Tournament team, as announced by the conference office Tuesday morning.

Rudesheim, a native of Columbus, Ga., posted a 4-1 record in six appearances over the four-day span. The right-hander struck out 23 batters and walked 11, while holding opponents to a .268 batting average. She posted a 2.46 ERA in four complete games and allowed 34 hits in 31 1/3 innings of work.

Niles was 8-for-10 at the plate during the tournament, with a double and five home runs and nine RBI, while scoring six runs. The hard-hitting catcher earned 10 walks, while posting an impressive 2.400 slugging percentage and a .900 on-base percentage, with 24 total bases over the six-game span.
