THOMASVILLE, N.C. -- Anderson University catcher Kayla Williams was named first team All-CVAC, the league office announced Friday. During the regular season, Williams, a freshman from Anderson, batted .371 with 16 home runs and 46 RBI. Her 16 home runs set the single-season school record. The previous record for an individual in a season was five, and the previous record for an Anderson team in a season was nine. Behind the plate, Williams committed just one error in 153 chances.
